Maryland Historical Society War of 1812 bus tour planned

    As part of the bicentennial celebration of the War of 1812, the Maryland Historical Society [MdHS] is hosting a bus tour by luxury coach to a number of 1812 historic sites in and around Baltimore Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    The intinerary includes stops at Todd’s Inheritance on North Point peninsula, Battle Acre and the Methodist Meeting House in Dundalk, and Fort McHenry, Battle Monument and the Flag House Museum in Baltimore. Participants will also get a special tour of the MdHS exhibit, “In Full Glory Reflected: Maryland during the War of 1812.”
    The cost is $100 and includes lunch. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. The tour leaves from MdHS, 201 W. Monument St.
