Chamber Luncheon at Wise Avenue VFD
Wednesday, 09 January 2013 10:04

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce offered a private luncheon for members and guests at the Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Department’s Train Garden on January 4. The holiday garden has been meticulously erected annually for the past 32 years by fire department volunteers who begin the project in October. Every year the garden offers a number of new features for the enjoyment of visitors. The Chamber luncheon was attended by 25 members and guests along with fire department volunteers and included a brief address by VFD President Dale Copeland (right photo, center). Pictured with Copeland are Chamber board member Phil Hanlon of Mars Supermarkets, which catered the event, and Chamber secretary Dolly McCoy, who organized the luncheon.  As a gesture of goodwill, the Chamber made a $100 donation to help with next year’s production of the train garden.
