North Point State Park Volunteers Easter Egg Hunt set March 23

    The annual North Point State Park Volunteers Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 23, at the Takos Visitors Center in the park. Rain date is Saturday, March 30.
    Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with Easter Egg hunts for children ages 2 and younger, 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 starting at noon. Bring your Easter basket.
    The event also includes a jelly bean counting contest, prizes, an Easter basket raffle and photos with the Easter Bunny for $5. Light snacks and drinks available.
    Registration is $3 per child. The park entrance fee is $3 per vehicle. Attendance is limited to parking lot capacity.
