Students from teacher Mary Holmes’ fourth-grade class at Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School raised money for Breakfast Optimist Club of Dundalk projects by collecting aluminum can tabs. The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Dundalk, the Childrens’ Cancer Fund and Angels Supporting Our Troops each received $75 from the students. Pictured (from left) Kathy Gunther of the Breakfast Optimist Club receives a check for the Childrens’ Cancer Fund from Jackson Dameron,  Tina Messman from Relay for Life gets a check from Daven Patel, and Irene Spatafore, president of Angels Supporting Our Troops, accepts a check from Delwende Yogo.
