•  Plarn-tastic Earth Day workshop for recycling plastic bags and string into weaving, knitting and crotcheting, for teenagers, Monday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. 
•  Irish Dance, a performance of both soft-shoe and hard-shoe styles by dancers ages 5 to 20, Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. Children 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
•  Intro to the Internet Part II, Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. Registration required.
•  Intro to the Internet for patrons 13 and older, Sunday, April 14, at 7 p.m. Register in advance.
•  Open House to recognize National Library Week, Thursday, April 18. Event includes refreshments and a prize drawing.
•  Curvy Creations like Klimt, an introduction to the art of Gustav Klimt with participants creating their own curvy artwork, meets Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
•  Preschool Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 with an adult meets Wednesdays, April 17 and 24, at 10 a.m. Activities include stories and songs, followed by play time. Registration required.
•  Baby Story Time for toddlers 23 months and younger with an adult meets Wednesdays, April 17 and 24, at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and bouncing, followed by play time. Registration required.
•  Thursday Knit and Stitch, a drop-in knitting and crocheting group for patrons ages 13 and older, meets Thursdays, April 11, 18 and 25  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All levels of experience welcome. Bring your own projects or get ideas from the library’s large selection of craft books. This is not a class, but group leader Paula Dixon can answer basic questions.
•  North Point Library   is open Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. until April 28, 2013.
•  Computer Room for independent work in a quiet environment for patrons ages 13 and older is open Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Computer room is not for social networking.

•   Game Day, with board games for players ages 6 to 16, Tuesday, April 23, at 4 p.m. Children 6-7 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Critters Caravan “Please Squeeze” Show to learn about reptiles and their habitats, Monday, April 22, at 7 p.m. All ages welcome. Children 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
