Patapsco High students win Fiesta-val awards in NYC

Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts performing arts students (pictured) competed in the National Fiesta-val Music festival April 11 to 13 in New York City. The group was awarded with the grand champion trophy, five champion trophies and nine first-place trophies. In addition, the following students earned soloist recognition: Arianne Minyard for piccolo, Joshua Langdon for chamber choir, Katelyn Clay and Kennedy Muenze for show choir, LeSeanda Hendrick for gospel choir, AJ Brown for gospel choir conductor and Donte Speaks, Deandre White and Glen Blackwood for gospel choir accompaniment.
