Optmist Club seeks Citizen of the Year and Humanitarian nominees

 The Optimist Club of Dundalk is now accepting nominations for  its Citizen of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year awards.
    Nominees for Citizen of the Year must live in the greater Dundalk community. Residents can nominate themselves or anyone else that has served the community with distinction. Nominations can  be made by individuals or through a church, business or other organization.
    The Humanitarian award will honor an individual who has provided major support for the community, though they may not live in the area.
    Nomination forms must be received no later than Saturday, March 15. Forms are available at North Point Public Library, 1716 Merritt Blvd, and the Dundalk-Patapasco Neck Historical Society, 4  Center Place. Forms can also be obtained by calling Shirley Panuska at 410-285-3899. Mail completed forms to The Optimist Club of Dundalk, 1964 Eastfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222-3152.
    Winners will be announced in the spring and will be honored at the annual Citizen of the Year Banquet.
