The Dundalk Eagle was named “Best Neighborhood Newspaper” in the Baltimore City Paper’s 2012 “Best Of Baltimore” issue, published last week.
The metro area’s iconic alternative weekly paper noted that The Eagle “is known for its dogged coverage of the colossal fall of the former Bethlehem Steel plant, its award-winning sports stories by longtime writer Bill Gates (no, not that one), and its attention to follow-up crime stories .... It’s also invaluable when it comes to the Who’s Who at the annual Dundalk Heritage Fair.”
The Eagle’s mention can be found on page 46 of the City Paper’s “Best Of Baltimore” edition or online here.
