In a photo taken by Northview Road resident Gary Sweat Sr., a fire on a sailboat that struck high-tension power lines above Bullneck Creek on Sunday is brought under control.

Thousands of Dundalk BGE customers were without power for six minutes on Sunday night after the mast of a large sailboat struck high-tension power lines above Bullneck Creek, according to a BGE spokeswoman.
The strike caused the boat to catch fire and 15,000 customers to lose briefly power during the Labor Day holiday, said Linda Foy, the spokeswoman.
The four-man crew evacuated the vessel and swam for shore, according to a Baltimore County Fire Department press release.
The 25-foot aluminum mast hit the overhead wires at about  6:05 p.m., the release said.
A 63-year-old passenger apparently suffered electrical shock and was  thrown from the boat, according to the fire department release.
The unidentified man  swam with the others 150 feet to shore, where he was treated and taken him to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, the release said.
The other three boaters reportedly were not injured.
Several units from area stations and marine units from North Point-Edgemere and Bowleys Quarters volunteer fire companies as well as marine units from the Baltimore County Police Department and the U.S. Coast Guard worked together to put the fire out on the ship, the release said.
