| Man who frequents Dundalk wanted for smash-and-grab burglaries |

A man who is known to frequent Dundalk and Harford County was being sought earlier this week by the Baltimore County Police Department, according to a police press release. ![]() A warrant for Steven Blankenship, 27, of an unknown address, was issued Monday, the release said. Blankenship, who is described in the release as being white, 5-foot-8, about 180 pounds, with green eyes and light brown or blond hair, is charged with a Jan. 18 burglary of the Royal Farms store in the 600 block of Southwick Drive in Towson at about 2:56 a.m. Police accuse him of taking a large quantity of cigarettes. County detectives received a telephone call last week from someone who identified Blankenship, according to the release. As part of their investigation, detectives linked Blankenship to the Royal Farms burglary. He is also suspected in other burglaries within and outside Baltimore County, the release said.
